An Apostolic Church
We have five fingers in each hand. Yet all are parts of the hand, equally important. We need them all to function effectively, efficiently.
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we are many from one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:4-5)
There are a variety of gifts. There are a variety of offices. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are not one above the other. Each has a role to play. Each has a ministry with which to give God the glory.
The hand cannot be used to the utmost of its capacity if it was maimed of a finger or two. God’s work cannot mature fully if the five-fold ministry was reduced by one or two.
One…two…three…four…five… Five parts in one whole. Many offices in one ministry. Many ministries in one Church. Many churches in one Body – the Body of Christ. We are an APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
