A Healing Church
Testimonies. They take up so much of our time but it is one of the few moments where we are alive as I’s, not we’s. Testimonials are personal experiences that we declare for God’s glory. And it is not infrequent that proofs of healing are presented here before us.
“…Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
Healings need not only take place in crusades. They take place at homes, in hospitals, in schools or by just a spoken word. We give so much attribute to God as our Healer that we can’t help but heal and be healed!
Healed we are. Physically, the lame have been able to walk, the deaf have been able to hear, the blind have been able to see... but healing is also of the heart, of the mind and of the spirit.
His Spirit detects wounds in every area imaginable for wounds do not choose the people they infest. And yet, He heals them all! Is it not edifying to witness both physical and spiritual eyes opened? Both physical and spiritual legs capable of walking? Truthfully, we are a HEALING CHURCH.
