HISTORY OF JIL CHURCH MILAN (2 of 2)

In the year 1999 God’s prophets Bill Hammon and Cindy Jacob visited Milan and prophesied that JIL Milan will have its own place of worship. Leaders and workers claimed by faith that the vision will come to pass and prayed without ceasing on bended knees. Consequently, an Italian brother who frequents another church had a vision that he is going to construct an evangelical church.  He is Bro. Ernesto Bortoni.   In January 2006, the Jesus Is Lord Church Europe in Milan bought its Mega Worship Centre and was constructed by Bro. Ernesto and his family.   In August of the same year, all church services and activities as well as the JIL International Conference were held there. It was dedicated to the Lord last in August 13, the day after the JIL International Conference.  Our Spiritual Director, Bishop Bro. Eddie Villanueva, his wife, Sis. Dory Villanueva and other pastors nation-wide came to witness God’s faithfulness to JIL Church Milan.

The JIL Milan under the leadership of Rev. Pastor Benny Alcantara began to multiply.  They have almost 600 attendees including leaders and workers and 100 active cell groups.  The EE Training is going on and the Discipleship and Leadership Training has just been finished recently.  These were conducted bring the JIL mission and vision into realization.  Our God is really mighty and great and He has kept the promise He made!” (1King 8:20) The Mega Worship Centre that the JIL Milan was praying for to draw multitude of souls down at Jesus’ feet now exists! It is the reward they have received out of perseverance, obedience and tested faith.
