JIL Brescia: An OverComer (1 of 3)
I can’t forget the awesome moving of the Holy Spirit during the 1st year anniversary of JIL Brescia. I have been a witness of it and it’s my first time be a part of such kind of celebration. Truly, JIL Brescia has been an overcomer!
May 11, 2008 marked the 1st year anniversary of JIL Brescia Chapter and it is under the pastoral care of Ptr. Mary Ann Bermudez. The anniversary’s message, “ They overcame him with the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death” was taken from the Book of Revelation 12:11.
Brethren from JIL Milan, ICF, “El Shaddai” and from other nearby evangelical churches came to experience the empowering Spirit of God. All of them desired to be over comers. There was the Prelude that portrayed the love for our Homeland. , The Philippine National Anthem and the “L'inno di Mamelli” were played consequently. Sis Rebecca Mejia from JIL Milan rendered the Opening Prayer and afterwards everybody was seated for the core of the day, the Word of God. Our very own Rev. Ptr. Benny Alcantara was used as God’s vessel. He talked on the significance of the Blood of the Lamb that farther explained what the theme is all about.
