JIL Milan Employers' Day (2 of 2)

The short speech of our Consul General, Mr. Pedro Chan assured our employers that we are trustworthy people and he entrusted us in their hands with confidence.  The message brought about by our own Rev. Ptr. Benny Alcantara touched our emotions to the fullest.  Everyone of us, employers and employees had the flashbacks of the past.  I could not help falling into tears because it reminded me  of the sufferings I have had  far from my children  17 years ago.

Our employers were really attentive to the words from the pulpit and I could not explain their emotions as I looked into their faces.  They could not grasp the truth behind the celebration.  They wonder why we have to thank and recognize them in spite of the fact that we are the one serving them.  Then later on, they acclaimed that this is  the sense of humbleness in the part of the Christian Filipinos.  Thanks God that all of them were enlightened  with His word!

Some visitors were allowed to speak words of encouragement for us. Appetizers and dinner were been served and everyone enjoyed that unforgettable occasion.  Many  still called our pastor the days after for complements and to thank the ministry. We have heard that those who were not able  to come for justifiable reasons were regretful and promised that they will be with us the second time around.

Thanks to our God who is the Programmer of everything and to Him alone we give the merit for this successful and blessed celebration! (Watch the replay of the Employer's Day)
