1 Chronicles 29:11-17

Building the House of the Lord was established in the year 2000 under the administration of Pastor Robert Galera and it was formerly known as “Kabahagi Ka Sa Templo Ko.”  It was developed for the reason that the income of the church collected from the tithes and offering were not sufficient for acquiring a place of worship.

On May 2006, the same program was re-established under the administration of Rev. Ptr. Benny Alcantara and it is now called “Building the House of the Lord.”  It is because of his passionate love for God that motivated him to pursue the aforesaid program. Its main purpose is to acquire a place where all the people of God will be united in worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth, to exalt His Holy name, and to give God the highest glory. It is all about fulfilling God’s desire for His house to be built.

The Jesus Is Lord Church Italy Worldwide Chapter in Milan is a fast growing church, therefore, a bigger place of worship is what we aspire to have. With our pastor’s faith in God, he took the risk of loaning a large amount of money to be able to finance a building  where God can minister with His people. It is called the “Megaworship Center,” which is the first in southern Europe. And there, the program “Building the House of the Lord” was pursued, committing 1000 euro of pledge. Within two years,261 pledgers committed to support the “Building the House of the Lord” thus 261 blocks were filled, out of 1050 blocks to be filled in. However, some of the pledgers were not yet fully paid. For that reason, our pastor have provided options for generous giver who are willing to give 25 euro monthly pledge, starting January 2008, in order to pay the building within 5 years instead of 15 years.
